Britt joined me for 3 nights in Barcelona! The first evening we arrived we went walking through the Gothic Quarter and had a traditional Spanish dinner: paella and a jug of sangria.

The next morning we walked to Sagrada Famillia via some of Gaudi’s other famous residential buildings on the way. I LOVED his style and the thought process that went in is just incredible to see – there is no section left untouched and the detail is just beautiful. The Sagrada was especially detailed, right down to each single piece of stained glass being in the perfect spot to create an image when the sun shines through.

We spent the afternoon at the beach and the evening doing some bar hopping. We stumbled across an amazing tapas place in El Poble-Sec that were so cleverly presented and only €1 each! Then we headed up the W hotel to its rooftop bar for an evening view of the beach and a watermelon mojito.
