Summertime sure was busy! Trawled through the archives for some pics of what I got up to, starting back in July when Mum came over to visit – we headed to Hyde Park to see Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Then returned the following day to see Florence and the Machine and The National!
We explored the Chihuly glass installations at Kew Gardens
For mum’s birthday we headed up the Skygarden, then went to the musical Hamilton – incredible.
I went on a couple of work trips to the Crown Dependencies – the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
Caught up with a few old friends passing through London
Dave, Gus & Alex turned 30, Sammy made more enormous cakes:
Emma and I headed south to walk the Seven Sisters cliffs
We went to Secret Cinema – Casino Royale, an incredible ‘immersive cinema’ experience. We turned up to a secret location with nothing but a fake identity, were then tasked with a top-secret mission, and entered a fairly unimposing warehouse – transformed into the canals of Venice, Miami airport, the Bahamas and of course the casinos of Montenegro.
Liv, Brig, Izzy and I headed out to Whitstable for a sunny Saturday excursion – for fresh oysters & beer by the seaside.
Went to George Ezra at Royal Albert Hall
And topped the month off with Sammy’s hens! Life drawing followed by supper club – and of course, ended the night with karaoke in Clapham.
